Temporarily Disable Your Home Voice Mail
You can temporarily disable your Home Voice Mail feature by setting your answering machine to answer after fewer rings. For example, if you normally set your Home Voice Mail to answer after four rings, you can set your answering machine to a lesser number of rings, such as three so that it will record before Home Voice Mail picks up.
To permanently terminate your Home Voice Mail feature you will need to Contact Us. Note If your phone line is busy, or if you have Call Waiting and choose not to answer the second incoming call, the calls will forward directly to Home Voice Mail.
