Talking Call Waiting
Talking Call Waiting, a Call Waiting enhancement, announces the second caller by name immediately after the Call Waiting tone.
When you receive a call, Talking Call Waiting provides the Call Waiting tone followed by an automated announcement of a calling party's name. You can either switch to the second caller, continue your call with the first caller, or switch between the two callers. If you do not switch to the second caller after the initial tone and announcement, you will hear a reminder tone after 10 seconds but the name of the second caller will not be announced again. All calling features are subject to availability and compatibility restrictions. Picking up the second call
If you hang up when you hear the Call Waiting tone, your phone will ring. You can ignore the second call if you do not want to be interrupted. You will hear a reminder tone after 10 seconds but the name of the second caller will not be announced again. If the first caller hangs up, you will be automatically connected to the second caller within two seconds. Returning the first call from the second call
Temporarily deactivating Talking Call Waiting You can deactivate Talking Call Waiting for the duration of one call. When you complete your call and hang up, Talking Call Waiting is reactivated automatically.
