Toll-Free Line is Not Working Problems receiving toll-free calls Check if your toll-free line is working for any calls. If not, the problem is related to your local phone service. Contact your local phone service provider for further assistance. Phone line is working but the toll-free number is not If you have confirmed with your local phone service provider that no problem exists on the telephone line, contact Verizon with the following information:
  • The date and time of the call

  • The 10-digit number of your caller

  • The recorded message, if any, your caller heard
You can make a repair request online.
