Why did my CableCard or TV Tuner suddenly lose most of my FiOS channels?
To continue to enhance and maintain the FiOS TV network, Verizon has launched a maintenance release which could impact certain older TVs and electronic equipment.
Some older TVs and electronics equipment may lose the ability to tune to most channels in the Verizon channel lineup because they cannot properly communicate with CableCard™ devices.
If you use a CableCard-compatible TiVo® DVR to access FiOS TV, you should not be impacted. However, you should ensure that your TiVo box has recently connected to the TiVo service.
