To record Live TV, press the Record button on your FiOS TV remote control.
What happens if I want to record a Live TV program after it has started?
If your TV has been continuously tuned to the channel where the program is being aired, you can press Record and the DVR records the beginning of the program (up to one hour in the past). Recording doesn't stop until the time period for the TV program in the Media Guide has expired.
How will I know the program is being recorded?
An icon next to the program title in the Media Guide indicates that the program is being recorded. The LED window of the DVR also indicates that a recording is in progress.
