Replace damaged or defective FiOS TV remote control

If your FiOS TV remote control is physically damaged or defective, you can request a replacement remote without speaking to a support representative. You can use In-Home Agent or our Automated Voice System to order a replacement. Once ordered, your replacement remote should be sent to your home address in 3-5 business days.

 

Use In-Home Agent

The easiest way to order a replacement is with In-Home Agent. If you don't have it installed yet, you can download In-Home Agent. Otherwise follow the instructions below:

  1. Open In-Home Agent on your computer.
  2. Select TV.
  3. Select Remote Control.
  4. Select Order Replacement Remote Control.

Use Automated Voice System

If you cannot use In-Home Agent or prefer to use another option, you can use our Automated Voice System to order a replacement remote.

  1. Call 1-800-VERIZON.
  2. Enter the ten digit phone number associated with your FiOS account.
  3. When prompted, say Yes to confirm your phone number.
  4. Press 2 for Tech Support.
  5. Press 1 for FiOS Services.
  6. Say TV.
  7. Say new remote.
  8. Confirm your address by saying Yes.
