The TV listings in your Interactive Media Guide are provided to Verizon from a third party service. Sometimes the timing information your DVR receives doesn't match the actual broadcast schedule. This can cause your DVR to not record the first few minutes of a program or stop recording before the program has completely ended
To fix this you can set your DVR to record a few minutes before or after a program's scheduled broadcast time.
To change the length of recording time for a scheduled recording:
- Press the Menu button on the remote control and select DVR.
- Select View Schedule.
- Select the recording in the list and choose Modify Start & End Time.
- Select the Minutes Early or Minutes Late field. Using the arrow keys, add how many minutes earlier or later you want the DVR to record.
- Select Save.
- Press the Menu button on the remote control and select DVR.
- Select Series Manager.
- Select Manual Series.
- Select Modify Series.
- Select Start or End and choose from the options provided to change the recording length of your scheduled Series Recording.
- Select Yes to accept the modification you've just made.
