D.C. Parks and Recreation Partnership
 

In an effort to bring the latest technology to our communities, Verizon Washington, DC partnered with D.C. Department of Parks and Recreation and donated hardware and software to several community centers in the District.  These centers now enjoy state-of-the-art technology. Each center has been equipped with PLATO, the literacy software that provides residents an opportunity to learn how to read at their own pace, or increase their reading skills. In addition, PLATO provides excellent GED training. The following is a list of centers where our residents can take advantage of and enjoy this technology:
