Global Telecoms Business magazine recently named Mustansir Jhaveri,
vice president – Verizon Network Systems, to its 40 Under 40 list of rising executives. Mustansir, 36, is among a select few young executives
the magazine believes will lead the world’s telecommunications industry over the next 10 to 20 years.
“I am both honored and humbled to receive such an esteemed award,” Mustansir said. “I am proud to be working for a company and an industry that helps revolutionize the way people communicate – around the corner, around the country and around the world.”
Mustansir’s organization develops operations systems for Verizon’s telecom and business global networks. He and his group oversee everything from network engineering to construction and provisioning systems lead by a world-class software development team.
Mustansir joined Verizon in 1998. Since then he has been on a fast track helping the company implement IT solutions. He was the first to help Verizon conceive of and build the new systems that led to the widespread deployment of Verizon’s FiOS network, in Florida and in 15 other states. His work also enhanced Verizon’s ability to offer next-generation FIOS voice, data, and video services.
Mustansir resides in Temple Terrace with his wife and two children. We congratulate him for this well-deserved recognition of his contributions and abilities!
