| Verizon and i-SAFE Partner for Cyber Safety Week and Provide Online Safety Education Events |

Verizon, i-SAFE, the leader in online safety education, and law enforcement officials teamed up in western Massachusetts to teach middle and high school students steps they can take to have a safe and secure online experience and address issues such “cyber bullying” through i-SAFE education and awareness programs. Students from Northampton, Pittsfield, North Adams, Northfield and West Springfield participated in 12 Internet safety workshops as part of Cyber Safety Week, from Feb. 1-5. The sessions were funded with a $45,000 Verizon Foundation grant.
