Verizon High Speed Internet Service

As we continue to transform Verizon's network around broadband, we're not only extending the reach of our network, we are reinventing our services to match our customers' evolving needs to improve the quality of life and make businesses more productive.

A growing number of people are enjoying the benefits of a broadband connection to the Internet using a Digital Subscriber Line (DSL)* -- a very high-speed connection using their existing telephone line.

* DSL is a distance-sensitive technology that works solely over copper phone lines. Currently, Verizon Online DSL is available to customers residing within 3 "wire-run" miles (up to 18,000 feet) from their Verizon Central Office and to other locations equipped with new technology that extends DSL further into the communities. Some wires may be capable of handling DSL and others may not, even in the same area. We're currently working to overcome the distance limitation so our DSL is more widely available.
