What is Lifeline Service? |

This program is for qualified low-income individuals. If you qualify, this program can provide you with a credit of $11.41* on your monthly telephone bill for one telephone line. |

How do I get Lifeline Service? |
| A |
You can get Lifeline Service if :
- No one claims you as a dependent on their Federal Income Tax, unless you are 60 or older
AND You are in one of these programs:
- General Assistance (GA)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
OR Your yearly income is at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

With Lifeline, what phone services can I have? |

You can have:
- One Touch-Tone phone line with either Local Area
- Standard Usage Option or Local Area Unlimited Usage
- Lifeline Toll Restriction at no charge option
- Call Trace is allowed at the current charge
- Caller ID Blocking - Number Only per call blocking or Line Blocking
- Reduced Installation charges
You cannot have:
- Optional Services such as Call Waiting, Home Voice Mail, Caller ID, etc.

This program is for qualified low-income individuals. If you qualify, this program can provide you with a credit of $7.66* on your monthly telephone bill for one telephone line. |

You can get Lifeline 135 if:
- No one claims you as a dependent on their Federal Income Tax, unless you are 60 or older
AND you are in one of these programs:
- General Assistance (GA)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- Food Stamps
- Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
- Medicaid
- Federal Public Housing Assistance
- State Blind Pension
- National School Free Lunch Program
OR if your yearly household income is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

- In the former Verizon PA service area
- An existing or approved Lifeline customer.
