Welcome to Verizon Rhode Island online, a great resource for news and information on how we serve you - our friends, neighbors and partners in business - throughout the Ocean State. 2008 was an exciting year for Verizon-Rhode Island! We completed a $100 million dollar network expansion and enhancement program. Our revolutionary FiOS TV was made available to 12 additional communities; Central Falls, Cranston, Foster, Glocester, Johnston, Lincoln, Narragansett, North Providence, Pawtucket, Providence, Smithfield and South Kingstown, bringing the total of FiOS available communities to 22 out of 39 Rhode Island cities and towns. And we will continue to build the network in 2009.
