In order to take advantage of potential opportunities to participate in Verizon's procurement process, MWDVBEs should register with our Supplier Diversity Program.  Registration in our database allows us access to your business profile and data regarding your firm's capabilities and experience.  

Please keep in mind the following points:

• The Verizon Supplier Diversity program is a component of Verizon's Sourcing and Procurement process.  It is NOT a SET ASIDE PROGRAM.
• Businesses that wish to register as diverse suppliers must have 3rd-party certification.
• Once registered it is the supplier's responsibility to keep certification and registration profile and documentation current.
• Registration in Verizon's Supplier Diversity database DOES NOT:
  • guarantee award of a Verizon contract
  • certify a firm as an approved  or preferred Verizon supplier
  • place a firm on any potential "bidder's list
  • obligate Verizon to solicit a Request for Quotation (RFQ)
  • indicate that your company will be considered to bid on procurement opportunities
• Once registered it is the supplier's responsibility to keep certification and registration profile and documentation current. Suppliers with outdated or expired certification may be removed from the database without prior notice.

To register with us as an MWDVBE Supplier, a business must be certified through a third-party organization.  An MWDVBE supplier is a business that is at least 51% owned and 100% controlled and managed by a Minority, Woman , Service-Disabled Veteran or Person with a Disability.

The advocacy organizations listed below provide the necessary third-party certification information.  For your certification, please contact the appropriate organization from the following list.  Various federal and state certifications are also recognized.
