 Broadband in WV

We're Expanding High Speed Internet Everyday

  • We are serving more than 350 communities today, and there are at least 100 more locations planned right now.  We have one of the most aggressive rollouts of rural broadband in the nation.
  • We expand our High Speed Internet (HSI) service to two new locations each week, on average.
  • All of the 142 Verizon serving offices, many of them in unincorporated areas, have High Speed Internet.

If we are not serving your community yet, don't give up. We're making progress everyday.  It may take longer to reach some rural areas.  We may need to invest in new electronics. We may need a fiber optic line.  We may simply be working our way through a long list of jobs (construction takes time).

In unserved areas, Verizon is partnering with State Government and the new Broadband Development Council to seek other solutions to get High Speed Internet service to rural areas.  Please register your interest in service with Connect West Virginia.
