We're Expanding High Speed Internet Everyday

Somewhere in our state today, Verizon technicians are building new electronic terminals to bring more High Speed Internet  (HSI) service to our customers.   We have one of the most aggressive broadband deployment programs of any rural state. 

• We are serving more than 350 communities today.
• We expand our High Speed Internet (HSI) service to two new locations each week, on average.
• All of the 142 Verizon serving offices, most of them in incorporated areas, have DSL.

All of us at Verizon recognize the critical importance of broadband like our HSI product for consumers and small and medium-sized  businesses. That's why we are partners with state and local governments to find ways to bring more broadband to unserved, mostly rural areas.

• July 22 -- Genteel Ridge in Wellsburg area has new capacity and we are adding new customers again.
• July 21 -- Madison -- More capacity for Boone County customers in the area of Rt. 17 at County Road 9.
• July 17 -- Rivesville, more capacity added.
• July 16 -- Buffalo, more capacity added.  Also, work has started on our new Fraziers Bottom location.
• July 2 -- Ansted, more capacity added.
• July 2 -- Greenbag Road area of Morgantown.
• June 26 -- Delaware Ave. area of Weirton
• June 24 -- Quarry Road area of Innwood
• June 12 -- Innwood, Nollville Road area
• June 12 -- Rivesville, more capacity added for HSI
• June 10 -- Herndon, more capacity added for HSI
