As an Oracle Software Development Engineer you contribute to the design, development and delivery of the Verizon Business managed security services fully in-house developed software infrastructure. You will be part of an enthusiastic and dedicated Data Management development team, and work closely together with the quality assurance and operations teams, actually using the software. You extend our current software in supporting new security products and security features assisted by a team of product experts. You improve and extend the existing software, quickly detect the cause of reported problems and propose appropriate fixes. You keep track of the short term planning and provide all necessary deliverables throughout the development cycle. You create, execute and document unit testing, necessary to ensure that the software components meet the requirements set up front; you apply existing standards for programming, naming, security and performance; and you provide proper code documentation.
