Position Responsibilities:

- Responsible for onboarding new Virtualization Disaster Recovery (VDR) customers, including:
                                - Initial capture of customer failover requirements
                                - Design VDR implementation to meet failover requirements
                                - Coordination and execution of implementation process (implementation management)
                                - Documentation of as-deployed customer VDR environment including failover runbook.
                - Participate in the development of standardized implementation procedures and documentation

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS/CIS), related degree or  equivalent experience
• Strong technical knowledge of networking, hardware and software based systems/applications, such as
o SAN and NAS technologies (NetApp, Hitachi Data Systems, EMC, etc)
o Replication and disaster recovery solutions (NetApp, Symantec Storage Foundations, VizionCore, EMC, etc)
o Virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix Xen, etc.)
o Industry standard server hardware (HP, Dell, IBM, Sun, etc)
o Industry standard networking technologies (Cisco, Riverbed, etc)
• Excellent documentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong implementation experience
• Experience in administrative/support capacity of high availability systems
• 7 + years of industry related experience
• Accomplishes tasks with minimal supervision
• Experience with large corporate environments/infrastructure
• Experience with moving/migrating systems and data
• Ability to lead a team of implementation engineers
• Ability to organize, coordinate and meet timelines
