This "hunting" sales position utilizes prospecting and networking skills to identify sales opportunities and then skills in managing internal resources to win their business. Sales quotas and account activity are measurements of success in this role. A successful Acquisition Acct Mgr will need minimal direction from management and be familiar with all aspects of the sales process.Utilize prospecting skills that include networking with former business partners and contacts, cold-calling, industry research, and product knowledge to generate new business. Using client and prospect feedback, develop specific solutions to business challenges uncovered, incorporating Verizon Business products and services. Manage a support team of technical, service, and installation professionals to assemble proposals using Verizon Business products that solve business problems for prospects and clients. Present solutions to clients and prospects in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
Qualifications: Requires a broad range of skills within a professional discipline to effectively perform routine to complex assignments; demands familiarity with principles, theories, concepts and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established procedures, policies and practices. Generally requires a BS degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
