Teaming with Terremark Solution Consultants and the Verizon sales teams they support to drive business growth through strategic Cloud and IT services sales. The role is to provide technical IT solutions leadership in the sales region in which you operate. The candidate will have deep and broad knowledge of data centre networks, systems and storage infrastructure and be the principal architect for the development of complex cloud IaaS and IT solutions opportunities for large enterprise organisations.

Understanding our customer's security needs and translating them into deliverable solutions
Assisting Sales teams and particularly Terremark Solutions Consultants during the sale of complex solutions
Presenting Cloud and IT services concepts and solutions to prospects, customers and their partners

This role may involve some travel within Europe and you must be able to demonstrate an international outlook and ability to effectively work with international business decision makers, as a skilled pre-sales solutions architect who understands the service delivery ethic for managed services.
Qualifications: Strong experience in architecting ICT infrastructure solutions for large enterprise
Deep and broad technical knowledge and expertise in ICT infrastructure including systems (Unix / Linux and / or Windows), storage and data centre network design and engineering
Familiar with infrastructure architectures to deliver COTS enterprise applications (e.g. SAP)
Understanding of relational databases
Understanding of middleware technologies
Understanding of network security technologies
Strong oral and written communication skills in English and German
A strong interest in the evolution of, and market for, cloud based IT services
