We are currently seeking an Sales Executive - Inside Sales to join our team. The Sales Executive (SE) is a quota-bearing sales professional that will engage customers using live chat, email, the telephone, and on-site customer visits as requested by the customer.

To succeed in this role, the SE will perform business and technical discovery with business prospects to identify fit with Terremark services. The SE will consult with the prospect to diagnose business and technical results to identify shortfalls and opportunities. The SE will analyze collected data to determine and tailor appropriate solution designs. The SE will qualify each opportunity and make determinations where to direct the customer for their sales engagement as needed.  The SE will be responsible for delivering written proposals to qualified prospective customers and closing sales.

  • Collect and analyze business and technical information by consulting with business prospects to understand and make independent decisions regarding fit with services and sales team. Provide useful judgments on business and technical issues for use in managing a sales engagement through the funnel or for use by other sales team members.
  •  Evaluate and prioritize multiple prospect objectives to develop optimal solution proposals.
  • Manage qualified opportunities appropriately through the sales cycle by leveraging qualification analysis to choose and tailor appropriate services designs, prepare written proposals, and close new business.
  •   Present solution designs to qualified prospects. Educate and demonstrate competitive advantages of proposed solutions.
  • Maintain up to date records in the sales force automation tool to provide insight and demonstrate accountability for the funnel. Periodically report to management on the status of the funnel and individual opportunities. Work with team members in other functional roles to ensure service delivery. Enter data into a variety of systems that support service delivery.

 

Required Skills

  • College degree with emphasis on technology OR minimum of one year of technology business to business sales.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication, rapid rapport building, attention to detail and strong listening skills are required.
  • Working knowledge of office applications including Word, Outlook and Excel is required.

 

Desired Skills

  •   Familiarity with sales force automation, databases, sales methodologies and business chat applications is a plus.
