We are currently looking for a Facilities electrical Engineer to join our team.  The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for providing mechanical engineering services for large scale data center electrical/mechanical systems and the associated building automation systems that assist in the operation and control of the electrical/mechanical plant infrastructure.

• Designing/reviewing electrical engineering designs employed  to support  mission critical facilities
• Developing and updating preventative and predictive  maintenance  programs for essential equipment
• Coordinating and inspecting services performed by outsourced vendors (installation and support)
• Managing costs and budgets associated with  the essential infrastructure and associated operations
• Maintaining an environment where diligence to policies and proven processes are quintessential Ensuring best practices and standards are adopted and enforced
• Identifying and pursuing engineering opportunities for innovation
• Establishing and cultivating relationships with  key contacts internally  and externally

Essential systems include: 
• Chill water systems (pumps, chillers, air handlers, valves, piping, variable frequency  drives, thermal storage devices)
• Direct expansion cooling systems (compressors, air handlers, high pressure refrigerant distribution)
• Fuel oil systems (tanks, pumps, fuel polishers)
• Life safety systems (fire detection/suppression)
• Instrumentation and control (flow sensors, pressure sensors (hydraulic  and static air pressure)
• Temperature, humidity, Building Automation Systems
• Power generation, utility services, low and medium  voltage switchgear, Uninterruptible Power Supplies

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• BS or MS degree in electrical engineer
• Experience with low voltage electrical distribution systems and/or HVAC cooling systems
