Position Responsibilities:

Duties within the Verizon FiOS store will include but are not limited to: Coaching sales consultants to  conduct Face to Face Sales Negotiations of FiOS-Voice, Data and Video orders, accept equipment returns for FiOS-TV. Order, receive and maintain inventory. Ensure consultants prepare, package and dispense equipment. Care for the ordering of in-store merchandising activities (ex. display set-ups). Supervise and train consultants to assist with bill payments, general account servicing , simple bill explanations and current promo's. Conduct monthly observations & prepare associate  appraisals.

***The person hired for this position will have responsibility of managing two locations: the work location and 105 West 125th st  (both in Manhattan).***

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 Years Retail, Sales or Marketing Experience 
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience 
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
  • Flexibility in traveling to alternate locations if needed
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience (First consideration will be given to those candidates who hold a degree)

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • Ability to be a self starter working with limited supervision
  • Must possess the ability to motivate and a lead a successful sales  team.
  • Retail sales experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Resourcefulness, flexibility and creativity
