UIS Business Development - Account Support
This position in the Universal Identity Solutions (UIS) practice presents an opportunity to expand our presence in the market. Specifically, the position is responsible for identifying and qualifying Universal Identity Services customers interested in deploying strong authentication and credetnial lifecycle management services, products and solutions within our account base. The emphasis of the position is to be placed on client satisfaction and expanding the use of the services to our current accounts through the development of relationships, experience and IDM knowledge. The candidate is expected to establish a trusted advisor role within the targeted accounts. This may happen directly or indirectly through peer-to-peer consulting utilizing other members of the VZB Account team. The candidate is also expected to focus on solution development that leverages our IDM capabilties.
Qualifications: deal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Must be prepared for extensive travel.
3-5+ years relevant experience
Experience in enterprise security/software and/or transactional/credit/identity authentication products or services for 5 or more years a plus.
Experience in defining and managing detailed business and product requirements.
Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent analytical, planning, and process development skills, strong business judgment, and high level of initiative are all required.
Demonstrated ability to articulate logical and persuasive arguments across an organization is required.
Ability to rapidly gain a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of enterprise software and risk analytics is necessary.
Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to conflicting priorities, continuously prioritize and reprioritize deliverables, and to respond to unexpected changes is required.
Demonstrated ability to build productive working relationships with internal teams, external customers, prospects and partners, and management staff required
Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Math, or other technical major required. MBA preferred. Experience in lieu of degree can be considered. The candidate is expected to be a life long learner that demonstrates a passion for remaining at the leading edge of their craft through self-directed continuing education
Additional Qualifications: MBA is preferable with 8+ years experience in one of the specific vertical markets; Financial Services, Retail, Utilities, Healthcare or Public sector, technical sales, system integration of proposal, complex project management and product marketing. Strong interpersonal skills, communication and written skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Graphics, formatting. Ability to manage complex projects. Must be flexible and able to work under pressure with short turn around intervals. Ability to think independently and resolve issues. Must have a good demeanor and work well under stress.
Strong security and Identity and Access Management background
Experience with Identity Management Product solutions such as CA, Sun, Oracle, IBM, Novell, BMC, etc.
Experience with Roles, Role Based Access Control, Access Control Lists, InfoCards, etc.
Strong background in authentication and authorization solutions.
Experience in the Financial Services and/or Healthcare market.
