Be able to articulate Verizons' value proposition to all levels within a customer's organization
Be conversant in security related topics, methodologies, industry trends, and core technologies
Map customer's identified business and technical issues to Verizons' solutions
Identify technical (Verizons' or customer's) barriers to sale
Identify and coordinate Verizons internal resources required to develop customer solution
Assist customers in their evaluation of Verizons products and services
Guide the RFP/RFI process to better position Verizon
Provide and review sample deliverables and project methodologies
Conduct educational sessions with groups within the customers' organization
Proposal and SOW coordination and support
Own the technical solution development while Security Solutions Development Manager drives the value of the entire Verizon solution
Clear documentation of customer project needs
Work with Advanced Customer Engineering to complete technical solution for insertion into written document managed by Solutions Security Development Manager
6-10 Years Security Sales Experience and Information Technology
Previous experience in a consultative selling position
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Expert is Managed Security Services, Networking, Security Policy, Consulting
CISSP Security certification. Other industry certifications (CWSP, GIAC, ISSEP, ISSMP) and vendor certifications (Cisco, RSA) are desirable
Interact with VerizonBusiness Core Acct Team, Security Sales, & Security Solutions Development Manager
Presales & client meeting support; Establish relationship with customer
Assist in making appropriate contacts at existing clients Identify add'l opportunities at existing clients & work with sales team to close. Assist in the development of acct strategy.
Presentation and demonstration support. Consultative Selling Work with the core sales org. to meet bookings & revenue
Identify all the key technical influencers
Present VerizonBusiness value proposition to executive level clients.
