Ensures compliance with all environmental regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws that impact the organization across the Asia Pacific footprint.
Responsible for preparing, maintaining, auditing compliance with and updating the company s environmental policy and procedure manuals, whilst ensuring compliance with local, national and regional environmental laws.
Serves as the primary EH&S contact (both internal and external) across the North and South East Asia region.

Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for working with network and infrastructure engineering groups as well as real estate managers to facilitate energy reduction and green initiative programs.

The incumbent will also undertake health and safety functions to support the Global EH&S Group.

Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or Environmental Management, or other relevant specialty area.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental management and / or consulting. Experience working for a multi-national organization.
Preference will be given to individuals with professional endorsements such PE, RSO, CIH, CSP, or ECO.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complex tasks. Able to work with limited supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Reports to APAC Team Lead.

Additional Qualifications: Experience and/or qualifications in workplace health and safety and project management are preferred.
Strong command of both spoken and written English.
Willingness to travel within the APAC region on short term assignments.
Working knowledge of MS Office programs and strong verbal and written communication skills.
