An Account Code is a numeric code that must be entered to dial long distance numbers. You can order non-alias Account Codes for any of your Verizon Enterprise Solutions products, including outbound (1+), inbound (toll free) and Calling Card calls.
Account codes can protect against telephone abuse and are an ideal way to track calls back to the person or project originating the calls.

After dialing a call that requires an Account Code, callers will hear a tone to prompt them for the code. The call will not go through without the correct code. When you get your phone bill, charges are grouped by code for easy tracking.
A $10 one time fee applies for changes to existing account codes.
