Verizon Extra Credit for Schools

Verizon Extra Credit for Schools
The Extra Credit for Schools program has been discontinued as of May 31, 2007. The decision was made in part due to a steady decline in customer participation over the last four years, but Verizon remains committed to supporting education in our communities, investing nearly $20 million in 2006 alone. If you’d like to learn more about Verizon’s commitment to education, please visit the Verizon Foundation at www.verizon.com/foundation.

Since 2006, Verizon has offered educators across the country online access to more than 55,000 educational resources that bring seven disciplines to life in thousands of classrooms. Educators in nearly 50 percent of America’s school districts have received training to use Thinkfinity, formerly known as MarcoPolo, the content for which is created by recognized leaders in specific disciplines. If you or your school is interested in learning more about Thinkfinity, please go to www.thinkfinity.org.
