Customers Say They're Satisfied and Verizon Service Continues to Improve

Each month, an independent market research firm hired by Verizon surveys over 50,000 consumers or businesses that had a recent transaction with Verizon. This interaction ranges from buying a new product to seeking a repair. Verizon constantly uses the survey results to fine-tune our service delivery and customer care processes.
In the largest group surveyed -- consumers -- over 93% said they were either satisfied with the new line or service they bought in 2007, or they rated us as "very good" or "outstanding."
In another large area of the survey -- those customers who call us with a billing or service question -- we also receive good grades from our customers. About 91% consistently say they were either satisfied or they rate the experience very good or outstanding. Again, the vast majority of those customers -- about 72% -- assign us the very good or outstanding ratings.
