Customers Say They're Satisfied and Verizon Service Continues to Improve
Each month, an independent market research firm hired by Verizon surveys over 50,000 consumers or businesses that had a recent transaction with Verizon. This interaction ranges from buying a new product to seeking a repair. Verizon constantly uses the survey results to fine-tune our service delivery and customer care processes.
 |  | In the largest group surveyed -- consumers -- over 93% said they were either satisfied with the new line or service they bought in 2007, or they rated us as "very good" or "outstanding."
 |  | In another large area of the survey -- those customers who call us with a billing or service question -- we also receive good grades from our customers. About 91% consistently say they were either satisfied or they rate the experience very good or outstanding. Again, the vast majority of those customers -- about 72% -- assign us the very good or outstanding ratings.
