Type of Change:
Bell Atlantic Switched Virtual Circuit (SVC) Cell Relay Service is a high speed, cell based connection-oriented transport service which uses native mode Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) as the service access technology. The service is able to carry digitized voice, video and data between end user locations. Initially, Cell Relay Service will offer User-Network Interface (UNI) access speeds of 45 Mb/s via DS3 and 155 Mb/s via SONET OC-3c. The SVC capability allows users to establish and tear down virtual circuits between end user locations in real time using standard protocols.

The SVC Cell Relay capability allows users to establish and tear down virtual circuits between end user locations in real time using standard protocols. This will be an additional capability to the existing PVC Cell Relay Service.
