Notice Of Network Change
GTE Telephone Operations
Access to the Equal Access Report #1 and the following attachments: CLLI Code Changes, Network Updates, NPA Split/Overlays, and NPA/NXX ChangesJanuary 25, 1997
GTE Telephone Operations presents Internet Web page access to its existing network change reports.
GTE provides carriers with a schedule of end offices proposed to convert to Equal Access during the succeeding 24 months. It consists of a primary report, Report #1, and is supplemented with various attachments, all of which are updated monthly.
Equal Access Report #1.
Report #1 is separated by areas (North, South, etc.)and each area report lists information at a state and end office level. The report provides the InterLATA and IntraLATA equal access conversion dates as well as switch type information. The report allows for carriers to plan for upcoming conversion activities such as filing appropriate paperwork, i.e., access service requests(ASRs).
CLLI Code Change Report
This report informs carriers of any changes in CLLI(Common Language Location Identifier) codes. CLLI code information is required of access carriers when submitting ASRs to GTE.
Network Updates Report
This report informs carriers of network technology changes made to GTE switches.
NPA Split/Overlays Report
This report informs carriers of upcoming (or current)NPA splits and NPA Overlays. It provides to the carriers permissive dialing period information so that they may educate their respective customers about specific dialing patterns required (new versus old NPA). Information is also needed for appropriate provisioning of services within GTE such as PIC changes with new NPA.
Changes in Equal Access
This report provides a brief notification of any changes to Equal Access conversions by office. The changes reflected in attachment are also made to Report #1. The information is provided on the attachment as a means of easily identifying these changes. The timeline for processing appropriate access carrier paperwork such as ASRs is centered around the conversion dates and therefore any changes made to the schedule need to be highlighted.
This report identifies any new NXX activity. This would include NXX additions due to growth or NXX deletions due to switch mergers.
Note this information is subject to change.
