After you set up your energy devices, you can monitor how much energy is consumed by your Appliance Switch or Energy Reader. The Appliance Switch measures the amount of energy (kWh) from any 110 volt appliance connected to the Appliance Switch, and the Energy Reader, which is connected to your circuit breaker, measures the amount of energy from all other energy sources in the rest of the home. Important: The electricity consumption (kWh) reported by your Energy Reader is a real time estimate of your actual household consumption.
