    • Installing and configuring a wireless ZyXEL G-220 network adapter in Windows Vista Your computer must have a wireless adapter before you can connect it to your wireless home network. The wireless adapter is used to receive and transmit the radio waves used to send and receive data. Verizon is currently selling the ZyXEL USB wireless network adapter for wireless home networks.

    You can download and use Verizon In-Home Agent to automatically configure your computer for wireless access. It can also help you transfer those settings to any computer in your home.

    If you prefer not to use In-Home Agent, manually adding your computer to the wireless network requires 4 steps in Windows Vista.

    To install and configure a ZyXEL USB network adapter:
    1. Verify your computer meets the minimum system requirements.
    2. Confirm you have the required ZyXEL hardware and support materials.
    3. Install the ZyXEL software.
    4. Install the ZyXEL G-220 USB adapter.
