    • Using Device Manager in Windows 7 to determine whether your computer has a wireless adapter installed You can use Windows Device Manager to determine whether you have a wireless network adapter installed.

    1. Click the Start button in the left Taskbar
    2. Click Control Panel. [Show Me]
    3. Select Hardware and Sound in Control Panel. [Show Me]
    4. Click Device Manager under the Devices and Printers heading. [Show Me]
    5. Click the ">" before Network adapters. If your computer has a Network Interface Card, the adapter name is displayed.
