If you selected Save Password when you entered your Verizon Wi-Fi user name and password, the Verizon Wi-Fi Hotspot Directory will be updated automatically when you're online. You can also manually update the Verizon Wi-Fi Hotspot Directory using the Verizon Wi-Fi Connect application.
To manually update the Verizon Wi-Fi Hotspot Directory:
- Start your computer, if it isn't already running. When your computer finishes booting up and the desktop displays, look in the lower right Taskbar.
- Right-click the Verizon Wi-Fi Connect icon and select Update.
- Enter your Verizon Wi-Fi username and password when the Verizon Wi-Fi Access pop-up displays.
- Note: You must enter the Verizon Wi-Fi user name and password registered by the primary account owner. Your Verizon account user name and password will not work.
- Click Save password to store your password for future use.
- Note: If you select Save password, future updates to the Verizon Wi-Fi Hotspot Directory will be done automatically.
- Click Update.
- Note: You must be connected to the Internet to update your Verizon Wi-FiĀ Hotspot Directory.
