Adding computers to your Actiontec wired home network requires five steps:
- Test for NIC installation. Verify that the computer you are adding has a Network Interface Card (NIC) installed.
- Connect computer to router. Use an Ethernet cable to connect the computer to your Actiontec gateway.
- Verify NIC configuration. Verify the properties of your Network Interface Card connection in Windows.
- Identify computer on the network. Use the Network Setup Wizard to identify the computer on your network.
- Test connections Confirm that your computer can now access the Internet.
