    • How will I know if I'm in a Verizon Wi-Fi hotspot? If you have registered for Verizon Wi-Fi and installed the Verizon Wi-Fi Connect software, you can verify that you're in a Verizon Wi-Fi hotspot by starting up your computer.

    1. Start your computer just as you would from home.
    2. When your computer finishes booting up and your desktop displays, look at the Taskbar in the lower right corner of your screen.
    3. If you're in a Verizon Wi-Fi hotspot and within range of the wireless access point, you will see a pop-up message that says Verizon Wi-Fi is available.


      4. Verizon Wi-Fi hotspot detected

    4. After you've verified you're in a Verizon Wi-Fi hotspot, you can access the Internet by clicking the pop-up message, entering your Verizon Wi-Fi user name and password, and navigating to the Web page you want to view.
