    Steps to create wireless home network with a Linksys router and a Westell 6100 modem

    The first step in the process of installing your Linksys router is to change your Westell 6100 modem from PPPoE to bridge mode.

    1. Open a Web browser like Internet Explorer or Netscape and enter http://192.168.1.1 in the Address field.

    2. Click Home in the top menu to verify you are on the Home page.
