    • Defragmenting your hard drive in Windows 7
    1. Click Start in the lower left Taskbar.


    2. Select All Programs. [Show Me]


    3. Click Accessories. [Show Me]


    4. Click System Tools. [Show Me]


    5. Select Disk Defragmenter. [Show Me]


    6. Select the disk drive(s) you want to defragment and click Defragment disk.


      7. Defragment Window


    You can also set up a schedule so your hard drive is automatically defragmented.
