Upgrading from a DSL modem to Verizon One
  1. Disconnect the phone cord from the modem line jack on the back panel of the modem but leave it plugged into the DSL wall jack or 2-for-1 adapter. [Show Me]


  2. Unplug the modem power cord from the wall outlet.


  3. If your modem is connected to your computer, unplug the Ethernet cable or USB cable from your modem but do not unplug it from the computer.

  5. Remove the modem and replace it with your Verizon One unit.
