Moving your Verizon One device to another room Because your Verizon One unit is also a wireless gateway, moving it to another room is a relatively easy process.

  1. Unplug the power adapter cord from the wall electrical outlet or power strip.


  2. Unplug the DSL phone cord from the phone wall jack. Do not unplug it from the Verizon One device.


  3. If your Verizon One is connected to a computer using an Ethernet cable, unplug the cable from the back of the Verizon One.

  5. If you have a fax machine connected to your Verizon One, unplug the cable from the back of your Verizon One to your fax machine.


  6. Move your Verizon One to its new location. Be sure to select a location within reach of a phone jack and electrical outlet.
