Lifeline Discount Program
Lifeline is a federal assistance program that offers telephone discounts to qualified low-income customers.
If you qualify for the Lifeline discount service, you are eligible to receive a reduced rate on your Verizon monthly bill. Some states also provide a discount on the cost of installing the new service, and toll blocking is available at no charge to Lifeline customers. Only one Lifeline discount is allowed per household. A household is not permitted to receive Lifeline benefits from multiple providers. Other service providers may use terms other than "Lifeline" to describe the Lifeline assistance program, so if you are receiving a discount from another telecommunications company, including a wireless provider, you are not eligible for the Lifeline discount with Verizon. Qualifications for the Lifeline discount program vary by state. To see if you qualify and to obtain an application for your landline service, please select the appropriate state from the list below.
