Out of hours port out request

An Out of Hours port request is required where the Desired Frame Due Time (DFDT) is after 5pm local time, Monday - Friday or anytime between 8A ET and 4P ET Saturdays.

Sunday or Holiday ports are not considered.

  • Out of Hours ports must be completed by 9pm local time.
  • All porting, testing and release of Verizon translations must be completed by 9pm local time.
  • Local time is defined as local time to the end user's number being ported.
  • Out of Hours requests that extend beyond 9pm will not be supported.
  • Pre-approval is required for all Out of Hours port requests.
  • CLEC is required to call the RCCC for all complex porting.


Process
After a FOC has been received on the LSR an Out of Hours project request form must be completed and emailed to outofhours-portrequests@verizon.com

  • Requests must be submitted by 5pm local time Monday in order to be considered for the following week's workload.
    • Example - Requests received on Monday 08/24/2015 by 5pm local time would be considered for the workload the week of Monday 08/31/2015 or later.
    • Example - Requests received on Monday 08/24/2015 after 5pm local time through Friday 08/28/2015 would be considered for the workload the week of Monday 09/07/2015 or later.

The RCCC will send an acknowledgment (or rejection) once the request has been approved (or denied). The RCCC will send a letter describing the additional charges for an Out of Hours request. Once the letter has been signed and returned to the RCCC, a SUP to change the DFDT on the LSR must be submitted.
