Subject: Verizon Introduces Enhancements to IntelliLight Broadband Transport®
IntelliLight Broadband Transport® (IBT) is Verizon's premier, point to point SONET service in Verizon-East (offered in the operating territories of Verizon's FCC Tariff Nos. 1 & 11). This service is offered today in Verizon-East with operating speeds of OC3/3c, OC12/12c, OC48/48c, and OC192/192c. IBT SONET private line services are transported over Verizon's state of the art, shared Telephone Company managed network, and provide reliable SONET transport.
Verizon has filed tariff changes that will enhance IntelliLight Broadband Transport in order to allow connections of IBT at OC192/OC192C speed to IntelliLight Optical Transport Service® (IOTS). Previously, connections were limited to OC3/OC3c, OC12/OC12c, and OC48/OC48c to protected IOTS optical transport channels. In addition, this filing will allow connections to unprotected IOTS optical transport channels at all the aforementioned speeds.
Please contact your Verizon Account Manager with any questions or sales inquiries.
The terms and conditions of IBT are set forth in full detail in Verizon's FCC Tariffs (Tariffs). This summary of the Tariffs is being provided for your convenience, but is not intended to provide a complete description of the terms and conditions of the Tariffs. You should not rely on this summary, and should conduct your own review and analysis of the Tariffs. Any failure or error by Verizon to fully or accurately set forth all relevant terms and conditions of the Tariffs shall not be deemed to bar Verizon from exercising its rights under the Tariffs. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, the Tariffs shall govern over any inconsistent provision set forth in this letter.
