The purpose of this notice is to advise that on the dates indicated below Verizon imposed charges for retroactive billing to adjust for the under billing of the rates associated with residence and business local directory listing products in Rhode Island. See Detailed Description Below.

Description:
Increases in Business and Residence rates for Non-Pub, Non-List, and Additional Listings services which were effective in May of 2006 (See Retroactivity Period) did not appear on bills for RI until November 10, 2006. Accordingly, Verizon is applying a charge to account for the under billing of these rates from their effective date through November 9, 2006. Retroactivity to be billed beginning with May 1, 2008 bill periods.
