Physical Collocation Space Exhaust List

Verizon Physical Collocation Space Exhaust List

The purpose of this site is to provide Verizon CLEC customers with a listing of Verizon Central Offices (COs) that are "full," i.e., have no more space available for physical collocation. The posting of this information is in compliance with title 47, Section 51.321(h) of the Code of Federal Regulations. Below is a sample of the listing;

State CO Name CO CLLI
MA Auburn AUBNMALG

* If exemption of an office from physical collocation is subject to approval by the state commission, it will be noted by an asterisk.

As is required by FCC rules, an office is listed on this site within 10 calendar days of the date that it is determined that there is no more space available for physical collocation.

Massachusetts and Pennsylvania
In addition to information provided in the Verizon Physical Collocation Space Exhaust List, Verizon also provides the estimated total amount of space (i.e. square footage) available for physical collocation in certain of its central offices for Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. This information appears on the following pages under the column labeled "Available Square Footage." Estimated amounts of available space are provided for central offices that have one or more physical collocation arrangements in service or pending and have been surveyed for available space after receipt of an application. Estimated amounts will be provided for the remaining central offices upon receipt of initial or subsequent physical collocation applications and completion of a space survey. Amounts are updated on a biweekly basis (i.e. 10 business days) to reflect collocation activity that occurred in a given central office.

Because the estimated total amount of available space in a central office may not reflect contiguous space in the office, Verizon may not be able to accommodate all forms of physical collocation in that office. The estimated amounts also may not reflect the actual square footage available in a central office at the time an application is submitted due to the dynamic nature of physical collocation space requests and allocation.

If collocation space has been returned in a central office, it will be identified by a "Yes" in this column. The information is posted within ten business days of the return or reassignment of collocation space.

Note: The availability and assignment of collocation space is subject to Verizon space assignment practices.
