Overview
The Reservation Maintenance Inquiry allows the CLEC to view telephone number reservation details.
The Reservation Maintenance Modification Inquiry allows the CLEC to modify a reservation date or cancel an existing telephone number reservation. The CLEC may cancel an entire reservation or cancel individual TNs that have been previously reserved.
When to Use
The Reservation Maintenance is used by the CLEC to identify all of the telephone numbers reserved with a specific reservation number and will also provide the Reservation Expiration Date associated with the reservation.
The Reservation Maintenance Modification Inquiry is used by the CLEC to cancel some or all of the telephone numbers reserved under a specific reservation number. Under specific conditions the CLEC may also extend the Reservation Expiration Date for TN reservations made using the Address Validation Direct TN Selection transaction.
How to Complete
The required fields for submission of the Reservation Maintenance are "State/Province," and either "Reservation Number" or "Requested Number".
When the "Transaction Activity" is Return Specific TN ("U") or Cancel Selection or Reservation ("K") the "Cancel TN" field is required for the Reservation Maintenance Modification .
When the "Transaction Activity" Cancel Selection or Reservation ("K") is used it will override any selections made in the "Cancel TN" field and cancel all telephone numbers on the reservation.
When the "Transaction Activity" is Modify Reservation Expiration Date ("M") the Reservation Expiration Date Extension field is populated with a "Yes" and the Cancel TN field is prohibited.

Responses from Verizon
The Reservation Maintenance response will return a list of all telephone numbers reserved under the Reservation Number.
When the Transaction Activity is "K" or "U" the Reservation Maintenance Modification response will return a Multi-Line Text message—"Reservation successfully modified" or "Reservation cancelled successfully".
When the Transaction Activity is "M" the Reservation Maintenance Modification response will return a Multi-Line Text message-" Extension Successful" , "Extension not Eligible less than 30 days" or other status messages.
