Wholesale Internet Service Engine (WISE)

WISE is an on-line application that allows CLECs to send and receive Pre-Order, Loop Qualification and Customer Service Inquiry (CSI) transactions using a web browser. The WISE is accessible via the Internet.

For an Internet connection, the CLEC must have access to the World Wide Web. The CLEC is responsible for setting up and maintaining an internet connection. The following Internet browsers are supported: Internet explorer version 5.0 or higher, and Netscape versions 7.1.

Security Requirements:
A User ID, Password and Digital Certificate are all required to access WISE. The CLEC users will need to obtain an individual ID, Password and an individual/personal Digital Certificate from Verizon. Verizon does not support the use of machine digital certificates. Verizon reserves the right to revoke digital certificates and suspend access to WISE if Verizon encounters that CLECs are using machine digital certificates.

The following tasks must be completed to sign up for WISE:
Submit Connectivity Request over a Secure Connection Complete and submit a WISE Access Request Form to receive your WISE ID/Password.
(Verizon will contact the requestor when an account has been established.)
Digital Certificate Help After you have received your WISE ID and password, if you need assistance with your digital certificate, please select Digital Certificate Help.
Ready to Begin If you have completed the previous steps and are experiencing systems trouble, please contact the WCCC at 800-483-7766.
