700 PIC Verification is a service-related enhancement which enables your customers to verify their Primary Inter-exchange Carrier (PIC) via an industry standard application that utilizes two standard numbers for PIC verification. The dialing format, 700-555-4141, verifies the interLATA carrier, while the format NPA-700-4141 is used to verify the intraLATA carrier. 700 PIC Verification service enables your customers to call either of these two standard numbers and access a recording verifying the reseller as the intraLATA or interLATA provider selected by the end user.
Customers can choose to record their own message or choose to have Verizon Business record it. Customers can choose to have a unique message on an account basis therefore customers wishing to create different messages can do so by managing their ANIs on separate accounts. A Service Delivery Implementation Coordinator will work with the customer and VZ internal groups to complete the set-up. Switchless 1+ traffic originated anywhere in the 48 contiguous U.S. and Hawaii and terminated worldwide. 700 PIC Verification is available for any 555 PIC'd traffic or customer CIC PIC'd traffic (when CIC Translations is in place).
The set-up of the recording includes a one time set-up charge, a monthly charge and a change charge if applicable. In addition, per minute usage charges will apply specific to the 700 PIC call type calls.
