Open Borders Coverage Service (OBC)

Overview

Open Borders Coverage (OBC) is a Toll Free and Contact Center Service for the Canadian market that permits Verizon Toll Free and Contact Center services to terminate in Canada. Toll Free customers can route 8XX calls between the U.S. and Canadian offices and contact centers to help enhance productivity and increase efficiencies while maintaining a seamless environment to the caller. This permits Canada to be included in yours and / or your customers call plans. The cross border OBC network is a single virtual network for the customer, which creates new flexibility, and permits Verizons intelligent network solutions to handle all North American call routing control.
